What is Kambo?
Kambo is a traditional Amazonian medicine derived from the secretion of the Phyllomedusa bicolor tree frog, also known as the Giant Monkey Frog. Indigenous tribes of the Amazon have used Kambo for generations as a powerful cleansing ritual, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Traditionally, Kambo is administered in a ceremonial setting to enhance strength, stamina, and resilience before hunting. It’s also used to clear “panema” , a term describing negative energy, depression, or spiritual blockages.
The secretion is applied through small burns on the skin, allowing the peptides to enter the lymphatic system. While the experience can be intense, many people report profound detoxification, heightened clarity, and emotional release.
This is a sacred medicine, and in this space, we honour the traditions from which it comes while working with deep care, intention, and respect.

What to Expect
We will start with a ceremonial opening, a tobacco cleanse, (smoke blown over your body) and hape (tobacco snuff, which is optional but may be helpful if during the medicine work, the purge gets stuck)
The medicine is applied through small “gates” (tiny burns) on the skin.
Within moments, you may feel warmth, flushing, increased heart rate, and nausea.
A purge will often follow. This may include vomiting, sweating, tears, or needing to use the toilet. This is considered part of the cleansing process.
The intense effects typically last 15-30 minutes.
Afterward, there is a rest period where I will offer sound and song. You may feel tired, emotional, or deeply clear. Some people feel energized later in the day; others feel called to rest.
After some rest, if you'd like to work with Sananga, amazonian eye drops, I will administer this.
Electrolytes will be provided, along with some mint tea to help your stomach settle.

Arrival time: 10am and expect to stay until 12:30-1pm.
Cost: sliding scale $240-540/day e-transfer or cash
3 day journey: $500
Traditionally, this medicine is worked with 3 times either 3 days in a row or 3 times in a moon cycle. 3 days in a row is for those targeting candida, cancer, bacterial growth or other chronic pain symptoms.
Full experience: priority will be given to those that register for all 3 days.
